Food security in North Philadelphia
A grassroots, volunteer-run, mutual aid organization, the Papermill Food Hub provides families in-need with weekly food and supplies. This demonstrates great empathy and compassion for the obstacles parents can face with work, childcare, and transportation challenges. The logo symbolizes this care, representing food access and the hub and spoke nature of their operations. The icon also references a paper mill wheel, their namesake and the building in North Philly where they got their start. The brand language is upbeat and flexible, designed for future scaling of applications as they expand.
